The Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS) is the oldest Circuits and Systems symposia sponsored by the IEEE. The 49th edition of the symposium will be held in the “Island of Enchantment”, Puerto Rico, from August 6 to 9, 2006. Topics include, but are not limited to the following:
  • CS1: Analog Circuits and Signal Processing
  • CS2: Digital and Adaptive Signal Processing
  • CS3: Programmable Logic, VLSI, CAD and Layout
  • CS4: Linear and Nonlinear Circuits and Systems, Theory, and Applications
  • CS5: Communications and Wireless Systems
  • CS6: Digital Circuits and Computer Arithmetic
  • CS7: Embedded Electronics
  • CS8: Image Processing and Multimedia Systems
  • CS9: RF, Microwave, and Optical Systems
  • CS10: Neural Networks and Fuzzy Systems
  • CS11: Control Systems, Mechatronics, and Robotics
  • CS12: Power Electronics and Systems
  • CS13: Bioengineering Circuits and Systems
  • CS14: System Architectures
Prospective authors of papers describing original work are invited to submit full papers up to five pages long, with title, abstract, and topic category from the list above in standard IEEE two-column format for consideration as lecture or poster. Both formats have the same value, and presentation method will be chosen for suitability. All submissions should be made electronically, to submit your paper please click here.  

Nominations will be solicited for the Myril B. Reed best paper award. Students are encouraged to participate in the best student paper award contest. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings subject to advance registration of at least one of the authors.
